RECENT EVENTS - Patricia Kaas Sings Piaf

Monday 5 November 2012 - 8:00 PM

Patricia Kaas Sings Piaf | Royal Albert Hall

Approximate end time 10:30pm

Patricia Kaas commemorates 50 years since the death of Edith Piaf with 'Kaas Chante Piaf', a world tour focusing on 21 of the great Piaf iconic titles.

After a fabulous career of more than 20 years, Patricia Kaas is still the dignified heiress of Piaf to audiences across the world, having won 6 'Victoires de la Musique' and selling upwards of 16 million albums in more than 47 countries.

With innovative stage design, this unique show will include a video installation with lighting that is different from anything on the stage today. Unedited, extraordinary, never seen images of Piaf, one of France's greatest international stars of all time, will be the centrepiece of this unique event.

The arrangements will be provided by one of the rising talents in film music today. Golden Globe nominee Abel Korzeniowski has impressed the Hollywood community with his passionate, evocative and truly original music, and recently composed music for Madonna's W.E.

Kaas Chante Piaf will also be released as an album on Monday 5 November.
