Education & Outreach Programme
Our distinctive education and outreach programme encourages life-long understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the Arts and Sciences and engages thousands of children and adults each year.
International artists from Nicola Benedetti to Emeli Sandé lead workshops and masterclasses, inspiring the audiences and stars of the future. Large-scale community and charitable initiatives enable us to reach out to those who may never otherwise have the opportunity to visit the Royal Albert Hall.
Your support is vital for projects such as these:
• Classical Spectacular Schools' Matinee - a dazzling, multi-media classical music concert to inspire pupils at Key Stages 2 and 3
• Friendship Matinee - opening our doors to people of all ages who are supported by charity, community or voluntary organisations
• Songbook – extending our outreach nationwide, by visiting care homes and hospices to perform interactive concerts for the elderly and terminally ill

"The Royal Albert Hall is certainly on the map for a whole new generation of young people and families. It is the involvement with families, as well as the students themselves, together with the impact in the schools, that makes it different to what everybody else is offering. It is innovative, it's inspiring to the students and it does have a shelf-life far beyond the duration of the project."
