Education

Learning and Participation

'The Royal Albert Hall is certainly on the map for a whole new generation of young people and families. It is the involvement with families, as well as the students themselves, together with the impact in the schools, that makes it different to what everybody else is offering. It is innovative, it's inspiring to the students and it does have a shelf-life far beyond the duration of the project.'

Jean Carter, Music Consultant, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

'I've seen their confidence flourish through the level of engagement demanded by the project.'

Ray Oudkerk, Head of Dance, Forest Hill School, Lewisham

The Hall's Education events aim to open new doors of opportunity for young people. The comments above from teachers and participants convey the importance of this work. We currently spend over £400,000 each year on this programme which we would like to extend from an essentially local base to a national scale. To do so we need to extend our circle of financial support.
